Pre-order refund policy:
If you have purchased GELFMAN product(s) during the pre-order round, we regret to inform you that there is no refunds on your order unless it is claimed as a defect (please refer to our warranty section). In exchange for one-time deep discounts, customers are expected to sacrifice on small variations on the design (due to production limitations), possible delays in delivery, wait time, as well as a no-refund policy.
Standard refund policy (non-pre-order):
If you are not satisfied with your purchase of GELFMAN products from gelfman.ch for any reason, you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. Only items that have been purchased directly from GELFMAN.ch, can be returned to GELFMAN. GELFMAN products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
If you would like to return your GELFMAN Product, please contact us at email@example.com for instructions and a return authorization number.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We will not refund or exchange any product that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Please note that any return shipping duties/taxes charged to GELFMAN will be deducted from the eligible store credit.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged per our one-year limited warranty. If you need to contact us regarding warranty coverage, send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be responsible for paying for shipping to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We encourage you to use a shipping method that has tracking features as we cannot issue your refund until we have received your merchandise.
GELFMAN ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
GELFMAN’s warranty obligations for this hardware product are limited to the terms set forth below:
GELFMAN SA («GELFMAN») warrants this GELFMAN-branded hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser («Warranty Period»). During this warranty period, if a defect arises, and you follow the instructions for returning the product, we will, at our option, either (i) repair the product using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the product with a new or refurbished product, or (iii) refund the purchase price of the product. Any replacement may be, at the option of GELFMAN, a new or remanufactured product.
A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.
When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes GELFMAN’s property. When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to GELFMAN and becomes GELFMAN’s property.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for GELFMAN that can be identified by the «GELFMAN» trade name, or logo affixed to them.
This warranty does not apply: (i) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (ii) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (iii) defects or damage caused by misuse, accident (including without limitation collision, fire and the spillage of food or liquid), neglect, abuse, alteration, unusual stress, modification, improper or unauthorized repair, installation, wiring, or testing, improper storage, use in an unapproved device or if the serial number has been removed; (iv) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by GELFMAN; (v) to damage caused by use with non-GELFMAN products; (vi) to any non-GELFMAN hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with GELFMAN hardware. GELFMAN does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. GELFMAN is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. GELFMAN’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR HARDWARE DEFECTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE AS DETERMINED BY GELFMAN IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GELFMAN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED OR USED WITH GELFMAN PRODUCTS AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain warranty service for any Product that is subject to the foregoing warranty, Consumer must notify GELFMAN (email@example.com) to obtain a Return Material Authorization («RMA») and return the defective Product to the address specified by GELFMAN in connection with the RMA.
When you will send defective product, please include a copy of your proof of purchase (invoice). For non-warranty work, we will provide you with an estimate for your approval once we have received and assessed the damaged goods.
Please pack and ship all merchandise in an insured postal package.
Please include the following information with your merchandise:
- Your name
- Mailing address (street, city, state, zip code)
- Daytime phone number
- Email address
- Proof of purchase (invoice and/or warranty card)
- A letter explaining the cause for the return
- Please prominently mark on package label «returned for repairs» to expedite customs control.
